Yintoa

Yintoa was a small Imperial planet on the midrim. It had only one spaceport, and so was overlooked by most of the galaxy. However, it was home to one of Black Sun's fortress like bases, one which allededly had Noz technological data. ^(ref)

Originally, a New Republic Special Forces team was sent to Yintoa to investigate. This included the temporarily seconded Elassar Targon. However, this small force was eliminated , leaving the Devaronian medic the sole survivor, and marooned on the planet for 10 months. New Republic General Kroften provided Rogue and Wraith Squadron a choice of missions. One of these was to infiltrate Yintoa, and extract the Noz data. It was deemed a risky mission, as the New Republic were currently negotiating with the Imperial garrison on the planet, despite evidence of the atrocities the Imperials were committing.

Despite the political issues, the squadrons decided to take the mission. They successfully obtained the data (in the form of Noz scientist Doctor Gheanphausernoph) and joined up with Elassar once more. However, typical in their nature, the squadrons could not ignore the atrocities the Imperial forces were involved in, and against their political orders, they intervened.

Yintoa itself was a miserable planet, with large forests and open plains. It rained a fair amount of the time, making it not a highly ranked choice of holiday destination!
