Tetran Cowall is the foil of Face Loran. Both Loran and Cowall were childhood actors in major holodramas and often competed for the same roles. While Face eventually left his acting career behind for the New Republic, Cowall went on into the Imperial Starfighter Corps. Cowall currently flies with the 181st and both Cowall and Loran share a mutual dislike for one another's careers, acting, flying and, most importantly, choice in beverage. It is a well known fact that Tetran Cowall's drink of choice is a Sunfruit Liquor Sunrise, while Face tends to prefer Elba Ale.
Cowall was a Commander in the 181st at the time of Operation: Vertex, his current whereabouts are unknown.
