SNR-1 Assault Speeder
The SNR-1 Assault Speeder is the Wraiths primary ground transportation. It's a peculiar mix between a racing speeder and an assault transport. If features four repulsorlift drives, two large at the rear, and two at the front for optimum manoeuvrability. Because of these, it can reach top speeds of 200kph, obscene for a craft that size. Its armour is impenetrable to small arms fire, although larger calibre weapons (like the E-Web repeating blaster) are still a threat.
It is kept on the bottom deck of the Sacul and is religiously maintained by Rrowv (who claims that the SNR part of the designation stands for his 'Shiny New Ride'). In fact, most of the Wraiths now refer to the speeder simply as 'The Ride'. It is a mixture of black and gunmetal grey, with a red strip running the length of the speeder.
It is 8.59m long, and requires a crew of two (driver and navigator/gunner). Mounted on the top, just behind the cockpit view port is the sensor bar. This comprises of a miniature Fabritec X1 Sensor Suite, as well as spotlights for night time navigation. Its weapons compliment is also impressive. It features two forward firing Taim and Bak 4c Light Laser Cannons as well as a rotating MerSonn IK5 Twin Autoblaster Turret. Built into the spoiler are six missile launchers, each containing three 3t3 missiles, the same used in the PLX-2M missile launcher. Each missile can take out a light speeder. Four missiles are forward firing, and two face to the rear.
There is space for up to 12 fully armoured commandos inside, as well as the driver and navigator/gunner.
The Ride is outfitted for most of the typical Wraith missions, with a miniature armoury (including explosives), one of Face's disguise cabinets, a high powered computer system, and of course full communications gear.
Entry is gained to the speeder by one of two sliding side armoured doors.
