RS Meet (Earth)
"RS Meet" refers to any time two or more RS members meet and spend time together. RS Meets do not refer to RS meetings between members who frequently see each other.
The RS Meets
The First Meet - July 9, 1999
| Corran Horn and Wes Janson (Earth) converge on the homestead of Wedge Antilles in a rural suburb of Phoenix, Arizona. It is ten months after the founding of Rogue Squadron, and it is the first time any RS members have met in person through the club. Tyria Sarkin is also present, spending time with Wedge's sister, Corran and Janson's sister, and another friend, although she does not join RS until soon after. The group enjoys several days of watching movies (including TPM, still in the theater, and the classic SW trilogy), playing games, swimming, bowling, and just hanging out. At the time, Corran was 16, Janson was 14, and Wedge was 13. Corran: I'm back from my vacation with General Antilles and General Janson at Rogue Suqadron headquarters in the Correlian desert!!! And I had a GGGGRREEEEEEAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTT time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Randy the Rancor MUST DIE! - July 27, 2002
| Corran and Janson go on a mission to the homestead of Dar Keyis in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to kill his insufferable RS creation Randy the Rancor. Their attempts on RtR's life have been documented here. During their mission downtime, Corran, Janson, and Dar enjoy watching guy movies movies, playing games, and shooting each other. Corran: Beware, Dar is far more insane and dangerous than can possibly be suggested online. I also had to suffer through him singing the RtR theme song!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Between multiple battles and tournaments, I still have not yet figure out the best way to destroy this RtR monster...but he is more dangerous than first imagined. |

| Myn Donos meets up with Corran and Janson briefly on his way to the airport. They meet at RS HQ in Los Angeles, where Myn gets to sit in the seat of power. Myn's impression of the meet (taken from Myn was here):
Myn: It was pretty strange talking about RS events, people, and icons in real conversation and speech. I'd never really spoken aloud any such words, only viewed them in text. Lots of fun, but a bit confusing at times ;) |

The Art Show - May 2, 2005
| Just a week after meeting Myn for the first time, Corran and Janson have the honor of meeting Ran Kether, who attends Corran's senior art show. Impressions from the show and meet (taken from Spotted): Ran: Corran, your show rocked, big time. The other exhibits were way cool and really interesting, but I didn't walk away feeling changed or anything from theirs. Yours got me looking out for the small stuff as well as the big stuff. Fantastic job! And Janson, you played an awesome host. |

Face Weds - July 8, 2006
| Myn, Mish, Shadow, and Gav meet up in England to celebrate the wedding of Face and Mrs. Face, a woman he met indirectly through RS. Details of wedding, as posted here: Firstly, I have to give a HUGE thanks to Gav and Shadow. Not only were they wonderful company in the week leading up to the wedding, but they really helped out too. Not just with the truffles (which were delicious!) but with all the little things, like binding Order of Service and Gav being FakeFace for the wedding rehearsal. They are two fantastic people, and it was great seeing them/meeting them! Myn is also pretty damned awesome! Suave, sophisticated, and the fact he travelled all the way from London to be there, when some of my other 'friends' couldn'tbe bothered to come with their OWN transport at half the distance! It was brilliant to meet you pal, I'm really looking forward to next July when we'll hopefully have more time! Wedding was brilliant, and thanks to those who logged on to watch. Also, thanks to Gav and Shadow for the really nice clips. We watched them last night, and Mrs. Face started crying again! It was also really nice, as during the ceremony, I only had eyes for Mrs. Face, so it's nice to see that Matt and Al (Matt aka Hoff being our friend who was officiating at that moment, Al being my bro and bestman on the right) were enjoying themselves too! Also, the picture of five Wraiths is just awesomness incarnate. Rest assured when the 'official' pictures come back, that will be the first posted. I'll probably end up putting all the pictures/videos/speeches/Order of Service etc online up on http://www.wraithproductions.com so if you're bored one day, and want to see my speech, or are deperate to find pictures of the Wraiths looking worse for wear (through tiredness I might add, not alcohol!) then I'll let you know when it's up. Thanks again to Shadow and Gav for all their help, and Myn as well, and of COURSE the beauty of Kai herself for all her help up to and on the day of the wedding! Based on how great it was seeing everyone, 2007 Meet Up is a MUST! More wedding feedback here. |

| It has gone down in infamy, the day when a total of seven RS members (Corran, Janson, Face, Shadow, Gav, Halley, and Rillao) met for the first time with the foolhardy notion that they could survive several days together in the woods east of San Francisco.

Mish travels across the pond and visits Octavia "Red" Terah in New Jersey. Feedback at Proof that Red Exists!. Red: Behold! - We know that cake exists, ergo this is proof Red is real! Actually, Mish is the proof -she and I met and had a lovely lunch, and here we are with our cake (PS - mine was called Shadow Chocolate Cake and was the size of my head!!!) and Mish had the oreo cookie cheesecake. But much fun was had, by two fierce ladies! |

Gav and Shadow Wedding - October 4, 2009
| It was the first wedding between two RS members who met in RS. Corran details the event (From the RS wedding topic):
THE GOOD Great wedding. Went off without a hitch. Or rather, with a hitch! Only mess-up was when the pastor asked Shadow if she promised "to be a faithful husband," to which she replied "to be a faithful WIFE." Nice, simple wedding with great food. Beautiful wedding location. Made for great photos. Shadow's rehearsal dinner cake with REAL frosting. Wow. The incredibly rich chocolate wedding cake. Yeow! Face and Red's attendance via webcam. Carried them all over the place and even gave Face a seat at the wedding party's table as an honorary groomsman. Smart looking tux, by the way, though Shadow's sister claimed you were only wearing the top half. The weather. Atypically nice and sunny most of the time. Beautiful area. Gav in a tux. Shadow in a dress. 'nuff said. THE BAD Watching "Twilight" at Gav's bachelor pad. It had Rifftrax commentary, though, so that made it hilarious. But, wow...that is one horribly cheesy, terribly written movie. THE UGLY Watching "Star Wars Holiday Special." No one could have prepared me for that cinematic atrocity. Only the Rifftrax made it survivable. That was the worst thing I've ever seen. And one of the most bizarre. Lucas must have been on LSD. A thousand years in the stomach of a Sarlaac would be less painful than watching that again. The bouquet toss. Got very ugly. All captured frame-by-frame. Photographic evidence here. |
