'Kite' is a commando in Firestorm. He is a slightly shorter than average human male, with very developed muscles. He is a member of the 1st Regiment of the New Republic Special Forces. He specialises in Space Operations and heavy/exotic weapons. His favourite weapon is his flame-projector.
He was injured during the assault on the Bloodlust, when he was shot in his left knee, practically fusing the armour and damaging the ligaments.
