'Waves' is a commando in Firestorm. He is a tall, green skinned Nautolan male. He is a member of the 4th Regiment of the New Republic Special Forces. He specialises in aquatic assault and infiltration.

Background
Born on Glee Anselm in the Sabilon region (like most of his kind), Waves grew up trying to emulate his uncle, a soldier who had fought alongside Kit Fisto in the clone wars. After joining the New Republic, Waves passed selection into the Special Forces, his natural aquatic skills earning him a placement in the 4th Regiment, specialising in underwater operations.
Although like most of the Firestorm, he has strong tendencies towards the Mandalorion culture, Waves is proud of his heritage, and is striving to find a balance between the two.
Physical Attributes and Abilities
Like all Nautolans, Waves possesses exceptional olfactory and pheromone sensing skills enhanced by his head-tresses. These detect the emotional state of another being, although work better underwater.
A weapons expert, like the entire Firestorm, Waves is considered a crack shot with all aspects of his DC-17m weapon system. Waves has modified his DC-17m to be able to fire underwater, as well as utilising sonic weapons and spear guns. Although able to operate in his armour, for stealth, Waves is able to slip in with minimal equipment.
Personality Traits
Exuberant and joking, Waves is constantly playing around with his colleagues. Almost permanently happy-go-lucky, it takes a serious blow to put in dent in Wave’s eternal optimism, except of course, running out of food.

Waves is currently a sergeant in the New Rebellion Special Forces, attached to Firestorm.
Significant Possessions
Waves has taken on one Mandalorian custom, and uses parts of armour from fallen comrades/family, he currently has Phones’ shoulder plate and one of Locker’s armour tallies as part of his armour. He also carries his uncles ID tags with him for luck.
Waves also has a small hunting knife made from the tooth of one of the aquatic predators on his homeworld. He keeps it for sentimental reasons, plus it’s never picked up on standard weapon scanners.
