Background
Elassar is a Devaronian male who hails from the cold planet of Devaron. As such, he possesses the typical ruddy red skin of the Devaronians, a pair of wickedly sharp horns and two sets of teeth. The first set of teeth are what Devaronian's call their 'female' teeth, ones suited for omnivore-type eating habits, which, incidentally, is the only type that Devaronian females possess. The other set of teeth, which are normally folded back, are called the 'male' teeth and are sharpened for the express purpose of hunting. They are capable of tearing and rending meat straight from the bone.
Elassar graduated as a Combat Medic from Starfighter Command. He had a particularly rough training assignment, including one training battle where, through no fault of his own, a team mate died. He was briefly seconded to Wraith Squadron before being transferred on temporary assignment to a combat surveillance group, and posted to Yintoa, a backwater planet heavy with Black Sun activity.
However, only weeks before he was due to meet up with Face and the Wraiths once more, his group suffered an ambush, leaving only the scarred Elassar alive to meet his former squadmates when they arrived. Elassar was immediately bought back into the Wraiths and retook his position as their chief medic.
In the following months, Elassar battled a dependency on prescription drugs before beginning to overcome it with the assistance of Katrin Halcyon who he began to become romantically involved with. However, their relationship fell apart over time as Katrin's own xenophobia hindered her emotions towards Elassar.
During the crisis at Keshoc Station (ref), Elassar was captured by COMPNOR agents, who removed his right leg, leaving it behind for his colleagues to collect.
Before he was captured by COMPNOR, Elassar was taking holo-correspondence classes to receive a medical degree to become a full-fledged, practicing doctor.
Physical Attributes and Abilities
Tall with a pallid reddish complexion. Elassar also sports a goatee beard and has two horns on top of his head. He habitually wears black flight suits. He is the Wraiths medic, and although less trained than a full doctor, he is well versed in combat medicine. He has also performed very tricky field surgery, aided by a holotransmission from (then) Tyria Sarkin. Elassar is also an accomplished commando, with decent skills in ranged and unarmed combat.
Unlike many of the other Wraith's, Elassar tends to avoid blasters in favor of slugthrowers. Elassar inherited this trait from his stint on Yintoa with the SpecialOps squad he was working with. SpecialOps tend to favor slugthrowers since they can carry different payloads, allowing them to custom tailor types of attacks against equipment, armored troops, or lightly armed combatants. Slugthrowers also have the advantage of being invisible to the eye as long as they are not tracer rounds, and can be silenced, unlike conventional blasters.
Elassar typically carries a variety of slug payloads into combat, examples of which include High-Explosive rounds for anti-armor and anti-stormtrooper action, conventional armor-piercing slugs which also pierce stormtrooper armor (in a less dramatic fashion), and a highly-illegal set of Fex-M3 slugs, which release the poisonous gas into the air upon impact with armored surfaces.
Personality Traits
Elassar is ridiculously superstitious, with numerous good luck charms and chants in order to see himself safely through situations. He can also be quite boisterous, being the perfect foil to Kai in their joint efforts to pose heroically. However, he still suffers guilt from his entire squad (who he was tasked to keep alive) dying, as well as drug withdrawals typical of a former addict.

Military Rank and Current Assignment
Elassar is a Captain originally from the New Republic Army, although recently transferred to NRI. He has one Intelligence Star. He was assigned to Wraith Squadron as Wraith 2. While Elassar downplays his true rank, all of the Rogues and Wraiths universally acknowledge his status as Supreme Omnipotent Master of The Whole-Wide-Universe.
However, Elassar is currently listed as MIA, as COMPNOR's prisoner.
Significant Possessions
His lucky black stuffed bantha, his lucky gilding set and his lucky frink pebbles are never too far from his side. He also treasures several of his custom slugthrowers, especially the Ulban Arms RF-40 Slugthrower, which he bought with back pay that was owed.

Elassar doesn’t own any starships personally, although he (like all the Wraiths) has a great attachment to the Sacul
Astromech
Elassar is paired with an R2 Astromech called Spinx, the astromech droid formerly belonging to Ran Kether. Elassar considers this terribly unlucky to have an astromech belonging to a dead pilot and avoids Spinx as much as possible.
