General Info

Dru is a Mechanical Engineer from Southern California, US, who wishes he was a computer programmer instead. He comforts himself with the knowledge that he has a beautiful wife and two wonderful children who think he's a great guy no matter where he works (editor's note: Okay, they might care if I decided to go into armsrunning or drug dealing...). He also distracts himself from his work (teehee) by working on online projects like Plotpedia.

Star Wars Legacy

Dru has been a Star Wars fan his entire life. His "claim to Star Wars fame" is that he got to see Return of the Jedi in theaters for its original release... when he was three months old. Yes, Dru was raised by two proper geeks. He has read many, if not most, of the post-RotJ Star Wars novels, and has poured over many a technical manual or fan essay. He has also run a number of Star Wars Roleplaying Game campaigns.

Dru considers himself to be something of a technical aficionado regarding the physics and mechanics of the Star Wars universe.

History in RS

Ancient History

Dru joined RS for the first time in early July 2000, where he was an occasional contributor to Plot 3. He remained a part of the board until the Great Board Crash of 2001.

Hawkbats Discussion Forum

Not finding a place for himself in any of the resulting e-mail loops or smaller boards, Dru left the scene, diverting himself with his own online community, the Hawkbat Discussion Forum, which persisted from 2001 to 2003. The Hawkbats did write Star Wars fan fiction, but it was generally more conversational.

Modern History

In late September, 2007, Dru rejoined the Rogue Squadron forum, and launched Plotpedia as a service to the plot writers on October 6, 2007.
