Darm Gizzard

Colonel Darm Gizzard is a veteran pilot of the New Republic. Having served in the Galactic Civil war since Hoth, he was the commanding officer of High Flight, the starfighter squadron partnered with Rogue Squadron, providing back-up and firepower when required. Colonel Gizzard retired following the Battle of Bormari, to tend to his ailing wife, leaving High Flight Squadron in the hands of Colonel Halley Kadorto.(ref)
He is a taciturn man, with a gruff exterior. He is, however, a talented pilot, and excellent trainer.
